Today, Tyler brings over 12 years of experience spanning technology, policy, and large-scale systems design. He currently works in Trust & Safety and Applied AI at Google, where he focuses on ensuring AI systems are scaled and deployed for a better future. His work is at the intersection of technology, business, and long-term civilizational impact.

From 2020 to 2025, Tyler specialized in big data, data integrity, data governance, and AI regulatory compliance. He’s architected data ecosystems at 500+ petabytes in scale, ensuring regulatory and operational integrity for the world’s most complex environments.

Since joining Google Cloud in 2019, Tyler has spent his career building relationships in product management and technical program management roles, developing cloud-based Data & AI solutions. He’s co-authored ontology research alongside Google Deepmind, and represented strategic partnership with the Enterprise Data Management Association (EDMA).

From 2011 - 2015 while attending university, Tyler held multiple internships in public policy. Upon graduating, he ran for the U.S. House of Representatives in California’s 35th district, focusing on cloud security, data privacy, and policies to drive innovation, job creation, and modern commerce. Tyler’s vision, became a partial roadmap for the 2016 presidential election.

AI, Ethics, & Society

Tyler co-authored and published an ontology research paper in partnership with Dr. Zhang and Dr. Limet at Google Deepmind.

The “Enterprise Data Management Association” (EDMA) is a leading global trade association providing best practices, standards, and education to data professionals worldwide.

Tyler facilited alignment between product teams, partners, and external stakeholders. He routinely spoke with EDMA members to understand their real-world challenges.
