Speaking on behalf of Google Cloud at the AI Ethics & Society conference was more than a speaking opportunity — it was a moment to drive a broader conversation about responsibility, governance, and the future of intelligence. I laid out why cloud platforms must lead with ethics: ensuring transparency, fairness, and trust in every layer of AI deployment.

Representing Google Cloud at the Enterprise Data Management Council wasn’t just a speaking slot — it was a chance to shape how enterprises think about data governance at scale. I argued that in an age of proliferating data silos, cloud-native governance frameworks are not optional — they’re foundational to trust, compliance, and innovation.

Victory is rarely won through dramatic blows. If you wanted to sabotage an opponent, you wouldn’t attack them outright; you’d quietly dull their sharpness. That’s exactly what COVID-19 may be doing on a national scale. Not just causing illness, but subtly draining cognitive clarity, sleep quality, stamina, and resilience across entire populations. The research is growing undeniable.

Six months into building a dedicated data governance practice inside Google Cloud, the results speak for themselves. What started as a vision in 2023 has rapidly become a global engine for impact… driving significant Dataplex-based revenue, expanding into three regions, and earning the trust of 19 major enterprises across healthcare, finance, retail, and technology.

From launching Dataplex globally to leading Data & AI Governance engagements with Fortune 50 companies, these years have been defined by building resilient systems, driving responsible innovation, and forging partnerships that solve complex data challenges. Along the way I’ve worked under 12 managers, sat in 5 offices, visited 18 more, and helped shape the future of cloud governance across U.S. industries.
